Long story short, I took of the timing belt for 120k maintenance and pulled the plenum to rebuild the lifters. Put the lifters back in, replaced plenum, and didn't touch anything else for 2 months because I just didn't have any time. Last night I finally decided to just put the timing belt back on and start the car. Video of startup [ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rZWZXTMfvyo ] As soon as I finished with the video I turned the car off and haven't touched it since then. Does it sound like the timing is off? Or could this roughness just be from the car sitting untouched for 2 months? When we put the timing on we counted the teeth inbetween all the sprockets and everything looked to be in time. The timing marks (on the belt) were on directly on every notch on all 5 sprockets. On another note, the lifters are ticking too, would this also be caused by the car sitting for 2 months? I rebuilt and tested the lifters and they all felt great before going into the car. Thanks for any help/advice you can give!
